A Pressing Situation

When you’re sewing or piecing quilt pieces together, do you get tired of getting up and down from your sewing machine to press the article you’re working on at your ironing board?  Here’s a solution that works great!…

Use a collapsible table (I got one at Wal-Mart for about $19);

The table folds flat for easy storage and opens up to three difference heights.

Then put a towel on top of the table.    This keeps the ironing board from slipping around.

Put a travel ironing board on top of the towel.

Use a travel iron.

Set everything up to the right of your sewing machine if you’re right-handed;

to the left side  if you’re left-handed.

It will be a perfect pressing station while you’re sewing and look like this…

When you don’t need it any more, everything’s very easy to store!  Enjoy!
