Clothes, Clothes and more Clothes!

Do you have lots of clothes?  I know a lot of people who have SO MANY clothes.  What I’ve discovered though is that most of the time I don’t even remember what someone wore when I saw them.  I dress nicely but I’m not a clothes horse.  I have many other things on which I’d rather spend my money than clothes!  My girlfriend, Linda, once shared a great tip with me.  She said, “It’s better to have a few really nice things than a lot of junk.”  I use that concept when I purchase clothing as well as many other things in my life.

I’ve also notice the more clothes you have, the more laundry you have to do.  My laundry increased significantly when I started wearing more casual clothes as opposed to dressing in business attire.

I have “rules” in my life that keep my life simple.  One of my “rules”  is that there are only three places clothes belong;

1.  On a hanger in the closet

2.  In a laundry basket

3.  On your body

Try this rule and see if your life is better!
